Day 1: Individual Arrival in St. Malo
Receive your travel documents and rental bikes (if booked).

Day 2: St. Malo - Dinan (approx. 34 km)
Cycle along the Rance estuary on charming paths with picturesque views until you reach Dinan. Upon arrival, the city's medieval charm will captivate you! In the evening, enjoy a walking tour through the pretty streets of this beautifully fortified town.

Day 3: Dinan - Combourg (approx. 33 km)
Today, you'll ride through the scenic inland landscapes of Brittany. After breakfast, leave Dinan and follow the towpath along the Rance River, passing by the Léhon Monastery before reaching Combourg. Upon arrival, visit the castle where Chateaubriand spent his childhood.

Day 4: Combourg - Fougères (approx. 55 km)
From Combourg, continue your journey through pastoral and river landscapes to Fougères, a delightful town recognized as a "Ville d'Art et d'Histoire." A highlight is the medieval castle of Raoul II, dating back to the 12th century.

Day 5: Fougères - Pontorson (approx. 47 km)
Ride from Fougères towards the coast on a scenic stage with some climbs. Enjoy the wooded and gorge-filled surroundings until you near Pontorson. The final stretch of the day follows the Cousnon River, which marks the border between Normandy and Brittany.

Day 6: Pontorson - Cancale (approx. 46 km)
After breakfast, cycle along the Cousnon Canal, slowly approaching the iconic Mont Saint Michel. Experience the wonder of drawing near to this world-famous abbey, known as the "Wonder of the West." Afterward, ride through the flat polder landscape to the picturesque port town of Cancale. Known for its oyster farming, sampling the local delicacy here is almost a must.

Day 7: Cancale - St. Malo (approx. 26 km)
Prepare your swords - you're heading into the former pirate and privateer city of St. Malo! Don't miss the chance to observe the birdlife at Pointe du Grouin with binoculars. After cycling through St. Malo's outskirts, you'll return to the starting point. The view of the fortified city with its storied past is breathtaking! Consider a city tour to learn about its privateering history. A walk along the ramparts offers stunning views of the bay around St. Malo.
