Day 1: Arrival Lake Wolfgangsee
Your tour starts at Lake Wolfgangsee, one of the largest lakes in the Salzkammergut region. Pick up your road book and rental bike in the starting hotel.
- You will stay overnight in St. Gilgen, Abersee, Strobl or St. Wolfgang.

Day 2: Lake Wolfgangsee - Mondsee - St. Georgen/Attergau, 30-53 km
Start the day by following former railway tracks along Lake Wolfgangsee to the Mozart village of St. Gilgen. Take time to visit the museum depicting Mozart's family living in St. Gilgen. Afterwards you will bike to Lake Mondsee to visit the wedding church from the Sound of Music movie! Following the path along Lake Mondsee brings you to the biggest lake in the Lake District, Lake Attersee. Relax that night in your St. Georgen hotel.
- Overnight St. Georgen

Day 3: Lake Attersee to Lake Taunsee, 45 km
Eat a big breakfast because the bike path between the Attersee and Traunsee will be a little bit hilly. It's not too demanding, especially if you take time to enjoy seeing the hamlets and farm houses along the way. Soon you'll arrive at the lakeside city of Gmunden. Enjoy a stroll along the esplanade and later walk the wooden boardwalk to see the Orth Castle, set on a small island. Continue on the bike trail along Lake Traunsee to Ebensee. You have a choice to spend the night in Traunkirchen or Ebensee.
- Overnight Traunkirchen or Ebensee.

Day 4: Lake Traunsee to Lake Hallstättersee, 30 to 40 km
Today's route follows the cycle trail along the Traun River to the former emperor city of Bad Ischl. Take some time to visit the emperor's castle or taste the pastries in the famous café of Zauner. Afterwards, continue following the cycle trail along the Traun River to the Unesco World Heritage Region of Hallstatt. You'll spend the night in a charming hotel in either Hallstatt or Bad Goisern.
- Overnight Bad Goisern or Hallstatt.

Day 5: Roundtrip tour Ausseerland, 45 to 55 km
Start your day with a scenic train ride to the Ausseerland, well known for the daffodil festival in the spring. You will cycle through a quaint countryside in the middle of dramatic mountains. Depending on your fitness (and energy level!) you can cycle to Lake Grundlsee and continue to the historic city of Bad Aussee. As you pass the distinctive valley of Koppental you will come to the famous village of Hallstatt, a Unesco World Heritage site. People claim it is one of the most picturesque lakeside villages in Austria. Spend a relaxing night at a Hallstat or Bad Goisern hotel.
- Overnight Bad Goisern or Hallstatt.

Day 6: Cycling from Hallstatt to Lake Wolfgangsee, 30 to 40 km
Today's bike ride starts at the bike trail along Lake Hallstatt and follows the Brine Pipeline trail to Bad Ischl. After a short ascent, follow the former Roman road to Lake Wolfgang and the lakeside path back to the village of Abersee.
- Overnight St. Gilgen, Abersee, Strobl or St. Wolfgang
